1. About AMSCHELA & The Relaunch

Q: Who is AMSCHELA®?
A: AMSCHELA® is a UK-based affordable luxury brand founded in 2017 by Keri Andriana. We create considered handbags, accessories and ready-to-wear that sit between fast fashion and traditional luxury – pieces you can actually wear, not just look at.

Q: What’s new about this relaunch?
A: This relaunch marks a new chapter for the brand. We’ve introduced a clearer structure to our collections:

  • Essentials – elevated everyday pieces (hoodies, jackets, dresses, sets).

  • Evolve – statement street-luxe pieces with bolder prints and graphics.

  • Classic Monogram · Black Label – our made-to-order leather bags and travel pieces, including Noir Mono, House Letter and House Stripe.

  • Signature Vegan Line (coming 2026) – sculptural vegan hero bags that sit above our core monogram.

We’ve also moved to a predominantly made-to-order model, which helps reduce waste and keeps each piece feeling more special.

Q: What does “affordable luxury” mean to you?
A: For us, “affordable luxury” means:

  • Thoughtful design and storytelling

  • Better quality than the high street

  • Smaller, more responsible production runs

  • Pricing that is aspirational but still reachable

You’ll see this reflected in our price ladder: Essentials as an entry point, Evolve slightly higher, Classic Monogram above clothing, and Signature sitting at the top.

2. Materials, Leather & Vegan Position

Q: I thought AMSCHELA was vegan. Why have you reintroduced leather?
A: You’re right – AMSCHELA started life as a fully vegan brand, and that will always be part of our story. As we’ve grown, we’ve listened to customers who wanted long-life, keep-forever pieces alongside our vegan options.

We chose to reintroduce leather only in specific collections (Classic Monogram · Black Label) where the material genuinely adds longevity and structure. These are made to order in small runs, rather than mass-produced seasonal stock.

We still deeply respect our vegan community, and this is not a “pivot away” from them – it’s an expansion of choice.

Q: So are you still vegan?
A: We are no longer a 100% vegan brand, but we are still:

  • Vegan-friendly for all non-leather products – our clothing, many accessories and future non-leather categories remain animal-free.

  • Committed to clearly labelling materials, so you can make informed choices based on your ethics and lifestyle.

If you prefer to shop only vegan, you’ll be able to filter and shop those pieces easily.

Q: What is the Classic Monogram · Black Label collection made from?
A: Our Classic Monogram · Black Label bags and travel pieces are primarily made from:

  • Full-grain or textured Nappa leather (for Noir Mono and stories)

  • Faux suede linings and high-quality metal hardware

  • Carefully selected linings and finishes designed for durability

Each piece is printed and handcrafted to order by specialist makers.

Q: Will you bring back fully vegan bags?
A: Yes. Our Signature Vegan Line is in development and planned to launch from 2026 onwards. This line will:

  • Be fully vegan and non-leather

  • Use sculptural shapes and bespoke hardware

  • Sit price-wise above core monogram, reflecting the work and materials involved

In the meantime, our apparel and non-leather products remain vegan-friendly, and we’ll signpost them clearly.

Q: How do you approach sustainability?
A: We’re not perfect, but we are intentional. Our approach includes:

  • Made-to-order and small runs, which helps prevent overproduction and landfill.

  • Working with partners who offer on-demand production and modern printing processes to minimise waste.

  • Encouraging customers to buy thoughtfully, care for pieces, and keep them in circulation longer.

We’d rather sell you one bag you love and keep, than three you forget within a season.

3. Collections & Tiers

Q: What’s the difference between Essentials, Evolve and Classic Monogram?
A:

  • Essentials – Elevated basics: hoodies, tees, dresses, jackets and sets designed for repeat wear. This is the most accessible price point in the brand.

  • Evolve – Our statement clothing line: graphic prints, distressed details, denim, and bolder silhouettes designed to stand out while still being wearable.

  • Classic Monogram · Black Label – Our monogram bags and travel pieces in Nappa leather: Noir Mono Core, House Letter and House Stripe stories. These are made to order and sit above clothing in price and positioning.

Q: What is Noir Mono vs House Letter vs House Stripe?
A:

  • Noir Mono – Our core black-and-gold monogram: the purest expression of the brand.

  • House Letter – A “ripped note” story print that weaves handwriting and paper textures into the monogram world.

  • House Stripe – A striped story print that frames the monogram in a more graphic, sport-luxe way.

All three sit under Classic Monogram · Black Label, but Noir Mono Core is positioned as the highest within that family.

4. Sizing, Fit & Care

Q: How do I choose my size in clothing?
A: Each garment has its own size chart and fit notes on the product page (e.g. “boxy fit”, “oversized”, “slim fit”). If you’re between sizes and prefer a relaxed look, we usually suggest going up one size for Evolve pieces. Essentials tend to run true to size.

Q: How do I care for my leather bag?
A: For Classic Monogram leather:

  • Store in a dust bag or box when not in use.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat, water and harsh cleaners.

  • If the bag gets wet, let it dry naturally, away from radiators or hairdryers.

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the surface; you can use a suitable leather conditioner occasionally if desired.

Care instructions are also listed on each product page.

Q: How do I care for my apparel?
A: Most of our apparel is:

  • Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle

  • Wash inside-out where possible

  • Do not bleach

  • Tumble dry low or line dry

  • Iron on reverse, avoiding the print area

Always check the specific care label inside your garment, as some pieces (e.g. denim or special washes) may have extra guidance.

5. Ordering, Production & Payment

Q: Are your products made to order?
A: Many of them are. Our Classic Monogram bags and a large part of our apparel are produced on demand when you place your order. This:

  • Reduces stock waste

  • Allows us to offer more designs without overproducing

  • Means your piece is created specifically for you

Some items may be held in limited ready stock for faster delivery, but this will be clear at checkout where possible.

Q: How long will my order take to be made?
A: Production times vary by category and partner, but as a general guide:

  • Apparel (Essentials + Evolve): typically produced and shipped within 7–14 working days.

  • Classic Monogram bags: typically 10–21 working days from order to dispatch.

During peak periods or launches, this may be slightly longer. Any important updates will be communicated by email.

(You can update these ranges later with exact lead times per supplier.)

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept major credit and debit cards and selected digital payment methods. Payment options will be shown at checkout. (You can add Klarna/Clearpay etc. here if/when enabled.)

6. Shipping & Delivery

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we ship to a range of international destinations. Shipping options, costs and estimated delivery times will be shown at checkout based on your location.

Q: How much is delivery?
A: Delivery costs depend on your location and the weight of your order. Current rates and any free-shipping thresholds (for example, free UK delivery above a certain order value) are displayed at checkout and on our Delivery page.

Q: Will I have to pay customs or import duties?
A: If you’re ordering from outside the UK, your order may be subject to local customs duties and taxes. These charges are set by your country’s authorities and are not included in our prices. The courier or local customs office will contact you directly if any fees are due.

7. Returns, Exchanges & Faulty Items

Q: Can I return a made-to-order item if I change my mind?
A: Because many of our products are made to order, we are not always able to accept returns for change of mind or incorrect size. We encourage you to check size charts and product details carefully before ordering.

However, your statutory rights regarding faulty goods are not affected. If an item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within the timeframe stated in our Returns Policy.

Q: What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
A: If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item:

  1. Email us with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

  2. Our team will review and, if confirmed, arrange a repair, replacement or refund in line with our policy.

  3. We may ask you to return the item or, in some cases, dispose of it responsibly.

Q: How do I start a return?
A: Please visit our Returns page or contact our customer service team with your order number. They’ll guide you through the process and confirm whether your item is eligible for return or exchange.

Q: Do you offer wholesale or collaborations?

A: Join our mailing list and follow us on social media. Email subscribers usually get first access to new drops, private previews and early-bird offers – especially on Evolve and Classic Monogram releases.
