We design for people and planet—with fewer, better pieces that are made to last and made responsibly.

Made to Order (100%)

We now produce 100% made-to-order. We only cut and print when you purchase—no deadstock, no overproduction—which reduces fabric, trims and energy waste. You receive a freshly made piece rather than another “just-in-case” unit.

Shipping: Made to order — Express delivery in 7–12 working days worldwide.

Materials & Animal Welfare

Amschela remains predominantly vegan, and our vegan products carry PETA-Approved status. Alongside these, we’ve reintroduced a small, clearly labelled capsule in quiet nappa leather for clients who value natural leather’s long service life and repairability. Leather pieces are sourced from responsible suppliers where possible and built for repair so they stay in use longer. Every product page clearly shows Vegan or Leather so you can choose according to your values.

How we do materials—responsibly and transparently

  • Vegan (PETA-Approved on vegan styles): durable constructions and responsible finishes to extend wear.

  • Leather capsule: prioritise LWG-rated tanneries where possible and REACH-aligned chemistry; build for repairability (stitch-in panels, screw-fastened hardware).

  • Quiet hardware: repairable metal components, minimal finishing—easier to service and recycle.

  • Clear labelling: every PDP shows Vegan or Leather up front so you can choose to your values.

Quiet Hardware (Built for Repair)

We choose quiet, repairable hardware across core lines. Standardised, logo-light metal components are easier to repair, replace and recycle, help avoid scrapping logo-dated stock, and reduce the chemical load associated with heavy decorative plating.
Quiet by choice: we don’t shout with hardware—because you can tell it’s AMSCHELA the moment you carry it.

Quality & Longevity

Designing for long life is our biggest sustainability lever. We specify high-gsm fabrics, resilient stitching and timeless silhouettes that remain relevant season after season. Care labels favour cool-wash, low-heat routines to reduce energy use and protect fibres—so pieces last longer and need replacing less often.

Packaging

Our packaging uses recycled board and is biodegradable, with minimal inks and components to lower impact further.

Positive Environmental Impact

We partner with Greenspark (formerly Get Mads) so every website purchase funds certified climate action—such as tree planting and plastic recovery—alongside selected UN-backed projects supporting clean energy and reforestation in developing communities. We publish periodic summaries so you can track impact with us.

Our chosen projects are:
UN Project 9933: Improved Cook Stoves in Malawi
UN Project 6848: Hydroelectric Energy in Chile
Plastic Bank: Transforming Plastic Waste into Empowering Income
UN Project 6315: Sugarcane Biomass Power in India
UN Project 5016: Reforestation in Rural India
Eden Reforesation Project: Fighting Extreme Poverty through Tree Planting

Social Mobility

Amschela supports social mobility by creating entry points for young people facing barriers to the creative industries through work placements, internships and skills programmes. Opportunity is part of our product.

Ethical Production & Modern Slavery

We require strict standards across our supply chain:
No child, forced or bonded labour (no one under 16 employed)
Safe working conditions in line with health & safety law
Dignity and respect—no abuse or harassment of any kind
Fair wages that meet or exceed legal requirements
These principles also apply to all Amschela staff, freelancers and contractors.

Memberships & Roadmap

PETA-Approved (applies to our vegan products; leather items are clearly labelled)
• Participant in the SME Climate Hub
• On a path to 100% materials traceability by 2030

These principles also apply to Amschela Staff, employed, freelance or contractors

FAQ

Why bring back leather if you’re mostly vegan?
Some clients prefer natural leather for its service life and reparability. We’ve limited leather to a small capsule, sourced from responsible tanneries where possible, and built the pieces for repair so they stay in use longer. Vegan options remain the majority of our range.

Are your vegan products still PETA-Approved?
Yes. PETA-Approved applies to our vegan products. Leather items are clearly labelled and do not use that mark.

How do you reduce leather’s impact?
We prioritise LWG-rated tanneries where possible, request REACH-aligned chemistry, specify repairable construction, and choose timeless designs to maximise years of wear.
